Edgar
Silex
is the author of two volumes of poetry, Through All The
Displacements (Curbstone Press) and Even The Dead Have
Memories. He teaches at St. Mary's College and has received
fellowships from the National Endowment of the Arts and the
Maryland State Arts Council. His most recent poems appear in
Rattle, The Baltimore Review, The New American
Poets: A Breadloaf Anthology, Weavings 2000: A Maryland
Millennial Anthology, and The Floating Borderlands
Anthology: Twenty-five Years of Hispanic Literature. He
lives in Laurel, Maryland with his family.
